The 23rd East African Banking School (EABS) Conference is a 5-day summit, scheduled for July 13–17, 2026, in Diani, Kenya. The conference is an annual regional conference rotating among Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. It is organized collaboratively by leading banking institutions in each country and serves as a leading platform for discussion, education, and networking among bankers, regulators, policymakers, and financial experts throughout the region. This year's edition will feature thought leaders and industry experts addressing critical priorities, including strengthening credit asset quality, effectively managing non- performing loans, leveraging data to unlock cross-selling opportunities, and advancing reporting, governance, and compliance across increasingly digital credit portfolios.
The event, themed "Navigating Credit Risk in the Digital Transformation Era," brings together industry executives and regulators from the East African Community for professional development and networking.
